Six Members Inducted into Saskatchewan Agriculture Hall of Fame
Reed Andrew - Saskatchewan Agriculture Half of Fame

Six individuals have been recognized for their distinguished contributions to agriculture and have been were inducted into the Saskatchewan Agricultural Hall of Fame.
The Saskatchewan Agricultural Hall of Fame, located on the second floor of the Western Development Museum in Saskatoon, was created in 1972 to recognize individuals who have made significant and distinguished contributions to the welfare and improvement of Saskatchewan agriculture.
Reed Andrew, the chair of the Saskatchewan Agricultural Hall of Fame says including the six, inducted Saturday, 234 scientists, veterinarians farmers and engineers have been recognized.

Clip-Reed Andrew-Saskatchewan Agricultural Hall of Fame:
The new inductees this year was Barry Andrew who is know as a Canadian Western Agribititon founder and a cattleman from the Regina area.
Pat Beaujot who is a pioneer in direct seeding and engineer and owner of Seed Hawk.
His techniques have changed the way people farm.
Linda Braun, who is very involved in the flax industry along with the food processing and has been very instrumental in changing some of the things in the food and flax industry in Saskatchewan.
Robin Morrall, who is know nationally for his disease work in sclerotinia and ascochyta and many other things.
He is a scientist and been very active in changing the ways and profits of farmers in Saskatchewan.
Then Florian Possberg who is known as a hog producer in Big Sky and very involved in the Canadian pork industry and the Saskatchewan pork industry and an advocate in his community.
Last but not least is Byrnne Rothwell who was a known veterinarian who was involved in the Cattle Breeder Association, Agribition and Horse Federation and a lot of 4-H for over 65 years and a very strong member of the agriculture industry also.

Andrew says it's comforting to know the contributions of these people won't be forgotten.
